Quality – ISO 9001:2015 Registered & ISO 17025 Accredited
Acuren maintains a comprehensive management system in accordance with rigorous quality assurance standards across multiple industries. Our management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (Canada) and is also certified across multiple locations. Several or our US and Canada laboratory locations are also ISO 17025 accredited for a wide scope of services which include both destructive and nondestructive testing.
The intent of our Quality Management System (QMS) is to ensure that all services inspection, testing, engineering, rope access and integrated service activities consistently meet both customer and regulatory requirements, with a focus on continual improvement. The QMS is just one way that Acuren provides enhanced customer service, in addition to other important areas of focus such as safety, environment and health, and business success.
Beyond the Foundation for Quality
Our commitment to reliability is manifested in robust, highly visible, and actively managed quality systems. Our foundation for quality service delivery is to:
- Scope: Ensure a clear understanding of the full scope of service to be delivered;
- Plan and schedule: the complete delivery of the service (including all deliverables);
- Competency: Employ technicians that are trained, competent and certified;
- Equipment: Only use properly calibrated and functioning equipment;
- Procedures: Provide consistency of service delivery through the use of technical procedures that apply to the appropriate code, standard and/or client specifications;
- Acceptance:
- Internal: Ensure that the service is accepted internally prior to finalizing the outputs;
- External: Obtain the client’s acceptance for the service and follow up;
Our quality system expands beyond the above foundation, and includes ongoing training beyond industry standards, clear and timely reporting, supply chain, change management, systematic auditing, and quality metrics.
Acuren has operated within the framework of a formal quality program for more than two decades. Our procedures are an integral part of daily business practices. Our commitment to continuous improvement is fundamental to delivering value to our customers.
